Can someone please tell me how to operate my fax option for a dell desktop 530 AIO 926 printer?
Supposedly the printer should have the ability to send and receive faxes through my computer when I try I keep getting no dial tone, no connection or failed. can anyone give me the easiest way to fix this problem? I have already tried to ask dell. They want to charge me 49.00 for something I paid for when I placed the order.

A-Best: it should have a port on the back of the printer for a phone line. I would plug your phone into it and then it should fax. The faxing from the computer thing usually means the PC sends the page to the printer then it dials out on its own modem.
